Apéritif: the first step for a perfect night out.

Apéritif ( a.k.a. Happy-hour or in spanish Tapas) is for somebody a moment made only to chill, to meet friends and to talk about your day in front of a good selected-wine glass.

Main records show that the apéritif first appeared in 1786 in Turin, Italy, when Antonio Benedetto Carpano invented vermouth in this city. In later years, vermouth was produced and sold by such well-known companies as Martini, Cinzano, Dolin, and Noilly Prat. Apéritif were already widespread in the 19th century in Italy, where they were being served in fashionable cafés in Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Turin and Naples. There is no single alcoholic drink that is always served as an apéritif. Fortified wine, liquer and dry champagne are probably the most common choices. Popular brand of bitters are Campari, Cinzano, Martini and Aperol.

Whether you go out for Happy Hour with co-workers, start the weekend off with gal pals, or maybe it’s a first date option, but it’s not too early to start thinking about what to wear. Your choice of what to wear may be different, depending on who you are meeting up with, but thing ahead will ensure you are looking great.

  • If your happy hour is a first date, you have to look gorgeous and sexy. This means you have to think about what to wear. You can easily wear a pair of coloured heels, a black or blue jacket, a white blouse and skinny jeans. That will make you chic and really gorgeous

  • When you want to go out with your colleagues for an apéritif you have not enough time to change your outfit. So you can take with you a pair of elegant shoes without heels, black leggings, and a grey or black skirt. You can match it with a pastel-coloured jacket and a glamour t-shirt. It will look you glamorous and stunning

  • To wear a pastel-light-colored dress and a pair of heels is the perfect way to enjoy an happy hour with your friends! You won’t be too much sophisticated and you will look gorgeous even though a hot boy want to flirt with you ;)
